Norcross, Georgia - HD Hyundai Construction Equipment., a construction equipment manufacturer, has promoted Mike Ross as its new president, following the retirement of Stan Park, who had led the company since November 2021.
In his new role, Ross will oversee business strategy, dealer network development, customer support operations, and the company’s continued growth across the United States and Canada.
Ross joined HD Hyundai Construction Equipment North America in 2020 as vice president of sales and was later promoted to chief operating officer. He brings nearly 30 years of experience in the construction equipment industry, with leadership experience across sales, product support, operations, and dealer development.
Before entering the construction equipment sector, Ross served six years in the U.S. Army after graduating from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point with a degree in economics.
Since joining Hyundai, Ross has helped strengthen the company’s North American operations, expand its dealer network, improve parts and product support, and align sales, marketing, product support, and operations teams. His leadership also supported the company during the COVID-19 period and helped prepare the business for the launch of Hyundai’s next-generation equipment and services.
Mr. Jaeuk Kim, head of North America operations for HD Construction Equipment, said, “Ross has shown strong leadership and commitment to dealers, customers, and employees, adding that his operational expertise has positioned Hyundai for continued growth.”
As president, Ross will focus on strengthening dealer partnerships, improving customer support, expanding Hyundai’s market presence, and advancing new equipment and technology solutions across North America.
