Atlanta, Georgia - HD Hyundai XiteSolution., a construction equipment manufacturer., has announced plans to merge its two major construction equipment divisions - HD Hyundai Construction Equipment., and HD Hyundai Infracore., into a single new company tentatively named HD Construction Equipment, effective January 1, 2026.

The merger aims to strengthen the company's global market presence by bringing together the Hyundai and Develon brands under one corporate umbrella. Despite the consolidation, both brands will continue to operate independently in the United States and Canada, maintaining separate dealer networks, as well as distinct parts and service structures.

Mr. Stan Park, CEO of HD Hyundai Construction Equipment North America, said, “Hyundai dealers and customers can be confident in the continuing strength of the Hyundai brand. This merger gives the Hyundai and Develon brands the full backing of a powerful global company that expects to exceed US$11 billion in sales by 2030.”

According to Stan Park, customers can look forward to several advantages resulting from the merger. These include more competitive pricing thanks to greater purchasing power, faster product innovation through shared research and development resources, and an expanded lineup of equipment. Additionally, the new entity plans to enhance aftermarket services and invest further in engine development and sales.

The move reflects HD Hyundai’s broader strategy to leverage its global scale while preserving the unique strengths of each brand in the North American market.
