New Delhi -Hero MotoCorp Limited., has launch of the VIDA VX2 Plus 4.4 kWh electric scooter. The new long-range variant strengthens the VIDA VX2 lineup and is designed to offer improved range, fast charging, and advanced connected features for everyday commuting.
Ms. Kausalya Nandakumar, Chief Business Officer – Emerging Mobility Business Unit, Hero MotoCorp Limited, said, "The new VIDA VX2 Plus 4.4 kWh addresses the growing demand for longer range and faster charging while offering customers more flexibility through multiple variants."
The scooter is powered by dual removable 2.2 kWh lithium-ion batteries with a combined capacity of 4.4 kWh, delivering an IDC-certified range of up to 187 km. It supports both a 1 kW portable charger and DC fast charging, enabling the battery to charge from 0% to 80% in around 65 minutes.
The VIDA VX2 Plus features a 6-kW electric motor producing 26 Nm of torque and a top speed of 90 km/h. It offers Eco, Ride, and Sport riding modes, along with a 4.3-inch TFT display, smartphone connectivity, OTA updates, turn-by-turn navigation, 27.2-litre under-seat storage, and a Combined Braking System (CBS).
The new variant will be available through Hero MotoCorp's authorised VIDA dealership network across India.
