Bengaluru- Hero MotoCorp Limited., a motorcycle and scooter manufacturer, recorded sales of 637,050 units in September 2024.
For YTD FY'25 (April-September 2024), the company has sold 3,054,840 units, reflecting a 10% growth compared to the same period last year. Demand remains strong across the 100cc, 125cc, and premium segments, while global business saw a remarkable 30% growth YTD.
As the festive season approaches, bolstered by a good monsoon, Hero MotoCorp is well-positioned with attractive customer offers. The company has a strong pipeline of bookings and increasing customer footfall, anticipating healthy growth during the 32-day festive period starting October 3.
In collaboration with Thums Up, Hero MotoCorp launched the limited-edition Mavrick 440 Thunderwheels. This exclusive series of 300 motorcycles will be available only to customers who purchase a Thums Up before November 31, 2024.
Additionally, in September, the company introduced the Hero Xtreme 160R 2V 2024 Edition at INR 1,11,111, featuring a segment-first drag race timer, a new signature taillight, and improved pillion comfort.
Hero MotoCorp also auctioned 75 exclusive collector’s edition motorcycles, ‘The Centennial,’ raising ₹8.58 crores for charitable causes, with the highest bid reaching ₹20.30 lakhs.
In September 2024, Hero MotoCorp sold 637,050 units, up from 536,499 in September 2023. Motorcycles accounted for 597,529 units, while scooters contributed 39,521 units. Year-to-date FY’25 (April-September 2024) sales reached 3,054,840 units, with motorcycles at 2,857,090 and scooters at 197,750, reflecting a 10% growth over YTD FY’24. Domestic sales stood at 2,940,666 units, while exports grew to 114,174 units, up from 87,910 in the same period last year.
