New Delhi-Hero MotoCorp, motorcycle and scooter manufacturer set to launch the Destini 125 scooter in the Indian market. The 2024 model features a completely new design, and Hero recently releasing a teaser that reveals some of the exciting updates and enhancements to the model.

The new teaser for the Destini 125 reveals that the scooter will feature a front disc brake, a rear drum brake, and a Combi Braking System. Alloy wheels will be included, indicating tubeless tyres are expected. The rear of the scooter will sport a fresh LED tail lamp, designed to echo the Activa's look with an 'H' emblem representing Hero.

The front apron continues with halogen turn indicators, but a new LED headlamp with a projector setup and an ‘H’-shaped LED Daytime Running Lamp have been introduced. The scooter now includes a rear backrest for enhanced pillion comfort. Design updates feature copper accents, a maroon seat and trim, and a variety of new color options. The amount of chrome has been reduced, and the scooter is anticipated to offer several new features.

Hero is likely to retain the current engine configuration, with no updates planned. The scooter will continue to use the 125 cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine, which produces 9 bhp at 7,000 rpm and 10.4 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm, coupled with a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
