Delhi- Hero MotoCorp’s EV brand Vida has launched the all-new VX2 electric scooter in India, designed as an affordable and practical family-friendly option. The VX2 is available in two variants Go and Plus and introduces a flexible Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model to make electric mobility more accessible.
In terms of performance, the VX2 Go comes with a 2.2 kWh removable battery, offering an IDC-tested range of 92 km. It accelerates from 0–40 km/h in 4.2 seconds and has a top speed of 70 km/h. The VX2 Plus, equipped with a 3.4 kWh dual battery pack, delivers a range of 142 km, accelerates faster at 3.1 seconds, and reaches a top speed of 80 km/h. Both variants support fast charging, reaching 80% in just 62 minutes under optimal conditions.
On the design front, the VX2 offers a modern look with a stylish LED headlamp, single-piece seat with a pillion backrest, and flat footboard for added comfort. Storage is generous, with up to 33.2L underseat space and a handy 6.1L front cubby for small items.
Feature-wise, the VX2 Plus includes a 4.3-inch TFT display, while the Go variant gets an LCD screen. Both offer smart features like turn-by-turn navigation, live ride data, cloud connectivity, and remote immobilization for theft protection. The scooter also supports multiple riding modes Eco, Ride, and Sport for varied road conditions.
