Hudiksvall, Sweden- Hydrauliska Industri AB (Hiab)., a manufacturer of loader cranes, demountable container handlers, forestry cranes, truck-mounted forklifts, and tail lifts, is a part of Cargotec Corporation., has reached a significant milestone with the production of its 100,000th truck-mounted forklift at its Dundalk, Ireland, facility. Designed for quick dismounting and operation within 60 seconds, these forklifts have been a game-changer since Kooi introduced the first model in 1967. MOFFETT, who began their own line in 1986, incorporated Kooi in 2004. Hiab now produces forklifts under the MOFFETT brand, available in 40 countries, and the PRINCETON brand in the US. Since 2021, both brands have also been assembled in Streetsboro, Ohio.

Hiab has introduced an all-electric lineup of emission-free truck-mounted forklifts, matching their diesel counterparts. These electric models offer lower total ownership costs and reduced service expenses due to fewer moving parts.
