Hiab Launches MyHiab App

MyHiab app to enhance operator productivity and safety with planning tools, troubleshooting, and service updates, available in multiple languages.

Hudiksvall, Sweden- Hydrauliska Industri AB (Hiab)., a manufacturer of loader cranes, demountable container handlers, forestry cranes, truck-mounted forklifts, and tail lifts, is a part of Cargotec Corporation, launches the MyHiab mobile app, to enhance operator productivity and safety, the digital companion offers features and content for Hiab equipment throughout its lifecycle. It also creates a communication channel between Hiab and its end-users.

MyHiab gives operators instant access to tools for better daily planning and troubleshooting. The app allows them to call the nearest Hiab service center for further help. In its initial release, Hiab can directly send essential equipment updates and proactive service information to end-users.

The app is available in local languages from Apple’s pp Store and Google Play in Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, Sweden, the UK and the US. More markets and language versions will be added during the year. Initially, it focuses on HIAB loader cranes, MULTILIFT demountables, and MOFFETT truck-mounted forklifts, with content for other Hiab equipment users as well. It enhances operator understanding and provides encrypted data to Hiab for service and product improvements.
