Hiab Wins Order for Cranes, Forklifts & TailLifts

USA - Hiab (Hydrauliska Industri AB), part of Cargotec Corporation, a global leader in intelligent and sustainable on-road load handling solutions, has announced new orders in the United States for its trusted range of equipment including MOFFETT truck mounted forklifts, HIAB loader cranes, and WALTCO tail lifts.

Strategic Orders Totaling EUR 15.4 Million

A strategic customer in the roofing supply sector placed two separate orders for MOFFETT forklifts and HIAB loader cranes, with a combined value of EUR 7.2 million. Additionally, two customers in the fleet management industry ordered WALTCO tail lifts worth a total of EUR 8.2 million. All orders were booked in Q1 2025 and will be delivered throughout the year.

These orders underscore Hiab’s long-standing partnerships and its critical role in supporting nationwide logistics and fleet operations in the U.S.

WALTCO Tail Lifts Enhance Nationwide Distribution

The WALTCO liftgates ordered are from the C, EM, HLF, and WDV series, with most units being HLF models. Built for durability and flexibility, WALTCO tail lifts are ideal for both urban delivery and heavy-duty long-haul transport, maintaining a reputation for excellence in the U.S. for over 70 years.

MOFFETT M8 NX Forklifts: Rugged and Compact

Hiab’s MOFFETT M8 NX truck-mounted forklifts, included in the order, offer a lifting capacity of up to 3,500 kg and are designed to navigate tough terrain. Despite their strength, they remain compact enough to be transported on a wide range of trucks and trailers, making them highly adaptable for various industries.

HIAB X-HiPro Cranes: Precision and Power

The HIAB loader cranes ordered feature three heavy-range models, with the HIAB X-HiPro 408 forming the majority. These cranes are equipped with the HiPro remote control system, allowing for precise, safe, and efficient handling in construction, utilities, and other demanding applications.
