Munich, Germany - Hitachi Construction Machinery (Europe) N.V., a construction equipment manufacturer, will unveil two groundbreaking innovations under its new LANDCROS Concept, the LANDCROS Connect Fleet Management System and the LANDCROS Innovation Studios. These solutions highlight Hitachi’s dedication to boosting operational efficiency and driving collaboration through advanced technology and customer-centric innovation.

LANDCROS Connect is designed to tackle key industry challenges by offering innovative solutions that enhance the customer experience and boost operational efficiency. The Fleet Management System enables centralized management of equipment from various manufacturers working on construction sites.

LANDCROS Connect system offers centralized fleet management for machines from multiple manufacturers, featuring real-time data on fuel use, CO₂ emissions, and machine performance. It includes geofencing, mobile access via iOS and Android, and integration with Hitachi's ConSite service and parts catalog. Designed for both office and on-site use, it aims to boost efficiency and streamline operations across mixed fleets.

Additionally, the LANDCROS Innovation Studios will drive co-creation efforts with startups to develop open, customer-trusted solutions. These mark the first offerings under the LANDCROS Concept. Moving forward, Hitachi Construction Machinery plans to expand this initiative globally, applying LANDCROS to a wide range of products and services while evolving into a globally minded organization and leading transformation across the industry.

Mr. Francesco Quaranta, CEO & President of Hitachi Construction Machinery Europe, said, “Our objective is to connect the operational landscapes of our customers by prioritizing understanding and addressing their challenges. We foster reliable partnerships for sustained business engagement and leverage open technology to swiftly integrate new innovations. Our intention is to be closer to our customers, delivering customized solutions that lead the transformation where the physical and digital worlds seamlessly merge, creating a new, exciting future.”
