Pendergrass, Georgia - Takeuchi Mfg. (U.S.) Ltd., a compact construction equipment manufacturer, has expanded its North American dealer network with the addition of Hoffman Equipment., a heavy equipment dealer, which will now represent the brand’s compact equipment line at four of its locations in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Hoffman will sell, rent and service Takeuchi compact excavators, track loaders, wheel loaders and attachments from its branches in the Bronx, N.Y.; Piscataway, N.J.; Deptford, N.J.; and Lionsville, Pa.
Established in 1920, Hoffman Equipment has grown from a heavy hauling and rigging company into a leading regional distributor employing 145 people at six branches. Now owned by Tim Watters, the third generation of the Hoffman family to run the business, the company has built its reputation on customer service and strong industry expertise.
