Honda Activa 125 Updated with OBD2B & TFT Tech

Gurugram- Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has launched the new OBD2B-compliant Honda Activa 125, bringing updated colours and advanced features to its popular premium scooter.

Mr. Tsutsumu Otani, Managing Director, President & CEO, HMSI, said the updated Activa 125 reflects Honda’s commitment to customer satisfaction. He highlighted the introduction of segment-redefining features such as a TFT display and Bluetooth connectivity via the Honda RoadSync app, aimed at enhancing the overall riding experience and setting new benchmarks in the 125cc scooter category.

Mr. Yogesh Mathur, Director – Sales & Marketing, HMSI, said that the Activa 125 continues to be a preferred choice among Indian customers. He stated that the latest upgrade focuses on improved convenience and style through smart features such as Bluetooth connectivity, navigation support, and a USB Type-C charging port, catering to the evolving expectations of modern riders.

The new Activa 125 is powered by a 123.92 cc single-cylinder PGM-Fi engine that now complies with OBD2B emission norms, producing 6.20 kW of power and 10.5 Nm of torque. It also features an advanced idling stop system, enhancing fuel efficiency while supporting Honda’s sustainability goals.

In terms of features, the scooter now comes equipped with a 4.2-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, compatible with the Honda RoadSync app for navigation and call/message alerts. A USB Type-C charging port adds everyday practicality for riders on the move.

Visually, the Activa 125 retains its familiar silhouette but gains contrasting brown-coloured seats and inner panels for a more premium appeal. It will be offered in DLX and H-Smart variants, available in six colour options: Pearl Igneous Black, Matt Axis Gray Metallic, Pearl Deep Ground Gray, Pearl Siren Blue, Rebel Red Metallic, and Pearl Precious White.
