      New Delhi, Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL), a manufacturer of premium cars, has launched the new Honda City and premiered its global hybrid SUV, the all-new ZR-V e:HEV, in the Indian market.

      Presented as “Two Sporty Icons,” the models highlight Honda’s legacy of sporty design, engineering excellence, advanced technology, and refined driving performance.

      The debut of the Honda ZR-V e:HEV marks an important milestone for Honda in India, bringing its globally recognized premium hybrid SUV to Indian customers for the first time.

      The new Honda City is developed under the concept of “Sharpen,” bringing sportier styling, improved aerodynamics, upgraded interiors and Honda’s engaging driving dynamics. The sedan now measures 4,594 mm in length and features a redesigned front fascia with Blade Eye signature LED lighting, Bi-LED projector headlamps, connected centre light bar, split LED DRLs, a sportier bumper, matrix-mesh grille and new R16 dual-tone aero blade alloy wheels.

      Inside, the City gets a premium ivory and black dual-tone cabin, a 10.1-inch floating touchscreen, wireless smartphone connectivity, ambient lighting, ventilated front seats, USB-C charging ports and a 360-degree multi-view camera. Safety is supported by Honda SENSING ADAS, including CMBS, Lane Keep Assist, Road Departure Mitigation, Lead Car Departure Notification and Auto High-Beam.

      The new City is available with two powertrain options: a 1.5L i-VTEC petrol engine producing 121 PS and 145 Nm, and an e:HEV strong hybrid system delivering 126 PS, 253 Nm torque and claimed fuel efficiency of 27.26 km/l. The petrol version is offered in SV, V, ZX and ZX+ grades, while the e:HEV comes in the ZX+ grade.

      The all-new Honda ZR-V makes its India debut as Honda’s new flagship SUV, expanding the brand’s hybrid portfolio in the country. Built around the concept of “Brilliant Liberation,” the ZR-V combines bold SUV styling, a premium cabin and a sedan-like driving experience with SUV visibility.

      The ZR-V is powered by Honda’s 2.0L e:HEV Sports Hybrid system, combining a 2.0L Atkinson-cycle petrol engine with a dual-motor hybrid setup and e-CVT. It delivers 184 PS, 315 Nm torque and claimed fuel efficiency of 22.79 km/l, with automatic switching between Electric, Hybrid and Engine drive modes.

      The SUV features full LED lighting, a glossy black vertical-slat grille, 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, dual outlet exhaust finishers and a premium all-black interior. Key features include a 9-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, 12-speaker Bose sound system, 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless charging, dual-zone climate control, power-adjustable front seats, hands-free power tailgate and up to 1,313 litres of cargo space.

      Safety equipment includes Honda SENSING ADAS, eight airbags, 360-degree camera, Driver Attention Monitor, parking sensors, Hill Descent Control, Hill Start Assist, Vehicle Stability Assist, all-wheel disc brakes and ISOFIX mounts. The ZR-V will be available in four colours: Twilight Mist Black Pearl, Meteoroid Gray Metallic, Platinum White Pearl and Crystal Black Pearl.
