Las Vegas, United States - Honda Motor Co., Inc., an automotive manufacturer, launches the first two prototypes of new 0 Series battery electric vehicles at CES 2025—the Honda 0 SUV and Honda 0 Saloon.

Honda introduced the ASIMO OS for 0 Series models, honoring the iconic ASIMO robot and embodying the "Wise" value of the series. Honda also announced a partnership with Renesas to develop a high-performance SoC for future 0 Series models and unveiled a Home Energy Management System for seamless, eco-friendly EV ownership.

Honda unveiled the prototype of the mid-size 0 Series EV SUV, built on a new dedicated EV architecture and inspired by the Space-Hub concept. With the "Thin, Light, and Wise" approach, it offers a spacious interior and advanced technologies like ultra-personal optimization and steer-by-wire for enhanced handling. The production model, made at the Honda EV Hub in Ohio, will launch in North America in early 2026, followed by global markets.

The Honda 0 Saloon, flagship of the 0 Series, combines next-gen tech with the "Thin, Light, and Wise" approach. It features a sporty design, spacious interior, Level 3 automation, and ultra-personalized mobility via ASIMO OS. The production model will debut in North America in late 2026, followed by global markets.

Mr. Lance Woelfer, Vice president of American Honda Motor automobile sales, said, “This new operating system reflects our commitment to innovation and ease of use. That’s the reason we do it. It gives us an opportunity to get some input and feedback from the community. It gave us additional confidence.”

ASIMO, Honda's iconic humanoid robot, was developed to help people and coexist in society. Launched in 2000, it became a symbol of robotics innovation. Honda has named its new vehicle OS "ASIMO" to embody the "Wise" value of the 0 Series, aiming to make it an icon of next-gen EVs. ASIMO OS will integrate and manage ECUs for automated driving, ADAS, and infotainment systems.
