New Delhi -Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt. Ltd., has unveiled the ADV 160 maxi-adventure scooter in India, with its official launch expected in the coming months. The new scooter marks Honda's entry into India's growing premium sporty scooter segment, where it is expected to compete with models such as the Hero Xoom 160, Yamaha Aerox 155, and Aprilia SR 175.

The Honda ADV 160 features adventure-inspired styling with a tall adjustable windscreen, dual LED headlamps, muscular bodywork, handguards, a stepped seat, and increased ground clearance. It is equipped with telescopic front forks, twin rear shock absorbers, and disc brakes with dual-channel ABS. The scooter rides on 14-inch front and 13-inch rear wheels.

Power comes from a 156.9cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 16.09 bhp of power and 14.9 Nm of torque, paired with a CVT gearbox. The engine is E85-compatible and features Honda's idle start-stop system to improve fuel efficiency.

The ADV 160 also comes equipped with a TFT display with Honda RoadSync, turn-by-turn navigation, USB charging, Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), and 27-litre under-seat storage capable of accommodating a full-face helmet.

With the ADV 160, Honda aims to strengthen its presence in India's premium scooter segment by combining sporty performance, adventure-focused styling, enhanced ground clearance, and everyday practicality.
