Vinh Phuc, Vietnam - Honda Vietnam Corporation Ltd., an automotive manufacturer, has officially launched the upgraded 6th-generation Honda CR-V e:HEV in Vietnam. Alongside the existing e:HEV RS, HVN introduced the e:HEV L hybrid variant for the first time, bringing additional customer-focused enhancements.
Introduced in 2023, the 6th-gen CR-V quickly gained strong recognition in Vietnam for its sporty design, strong performance, advanced safety, and high comfort. Since launch, it has earned two “Car of the Year 2023” honors from VnExpress, including the overall market award and the C-segment crossover category title. The model also won “Outstanding Family Car” at the Better Choice Awards 2024 and “Hybrid Car of the Year 2025.”
Building on its success in the highly competitive C-SUV segment, HVN says the updated CR-V e:HEV reflects its “Defining the Pioneering Position” message, aiming to further elevate the customer experience with upgraded features.
The new Honda CR-V e:HEV, assembled at Honda’s Phu Tho plant, goes on sale in Vietnam from February 11, 2026 through Honda Automobile Dealers nationwide. It will be offered in e:HEV L and e:HEV RS variants, with White, Black, Red (new), Blue, and Gray color options (additional charge: … million VND for … color).
As Honda’s first locally assembled CR-V e:HEV in Vietnam, it maintains global quality standards while supporting the domestic auto industry. Key upgrades include a push-button shifter for better space and convenience, a sporty 6th-gen design, and a more aggressive RS look with gloss-black accents and RS seat branding.
Power comes from a 2.0L dual-motor hybrid with 204 hp combined output, 335 Nm torque from the traction motor, E-CVT, and Sport mode for sharper acceleration—delivering strong performance with improved fuel efficiency.
The Honda CR-V e:HEV reinforces Honda’s focus on safer mobility, supporting Vietnam’s goal of “zero traffic fatalities.” All variants come standard with Honda SENSING (CMBS, RDM, LKAS, Forward Departure Warning, ACC with Low-Speed Follow, and AHB), while the e:HEV RS adds ADB/Intelligent Adaptive Headlights. Additional safety equipment includes a 360° camera, LaneWatch, front and rear sensors, TPMS, and a drowsiness alert, along with 8 airbags and post-collision automatic braking. The model has achieved a 5-star ASEAN NCAP rating.
Inside, the CR-V e:HEV continues to offer a spacious, premium 5-seat cabin with a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, HUD, wireless charging, supportive power seats (driver with memory), and practical storage throughout. All versions also feature Honda CONNECT for safety, remote control, and convenience, including remote start, with a smart key card on the RS. Entertainment is handled by a 9-inch infotainment display with wireless smartphone connectivity and a 12-speaker BOSE audio system, while the RS panoramic sunroof adds a brighter, more open cabin feel.
The CR-V e:HEV is backed by a 3-year/100,000 km warranty, plus a free additional 2-year/50,000 km coverage on core components including the engine, transmission, and hybrid battery, subject to scheduled maintenance.
