Austin, United States- Hyroad Energy, a hydrogen-powered transportation solutions, has announced the acquisition of 113 hydrogen fuel cell trucks, along with spare parts, software platforms, and intellectual property assets from Nikola Corporation’s bankruptcy auction. This strategic move expands Hyroad’s fleet and strengthens its ability to scale zero-emission, hydrogen-fueled trucking operations.

The acquisition covers vehicles, software systems, and operational infrastructure, with Hyroad set to establish dedicated maintenance and parts facilities to ensure reliable fleet support.

The newly acquired trucks will be deployed primarily in California, where Hyroad is actively building hydrogen refueling infrastructure for its customers. In addition, the company plans to support existing Nikola truck owners, ensuring service continuity and fostering the growth of hydrogen-powered trucking across the United States.

Mr. Dmitry Serov, CEO and Founder of Hyroad Energy, said, "This acquisition significantly advances Hyroad's mission to provide turnkey hydrogen trucking solutions that reduce the complexity and risk typically associated with adopting zero-emission technologies. These trucks and the corresponding equipment and systems represent immediate capacity to put proven hydrogen fuel cell technology on the road to meet demand for zero-emission trucks."
