Austin, United States- Hyroad Energy, a hydrogen-powered transportation solutions, has announced the acquisition of 113 hydrogen fuel cell trucks, along with spare parts, software platforms, and intellectual property assets from Nikola Corporation’s bankruptcy auction. This strategic move expands Hyroad’s fleet and strengthens its ability to scale zero-emission, hydrogen-fueled trucking operations.
The acquisition covers vehicles, software systems, and operational infrastructure, with Hyroad set to establish dedicated maintenance and parts facilities to ensure reliable fleet support.
The newly acquired trucks will be deployed primarily in California, where Hyroad is actively building hydrogen refueling infrastructure for its customers. In addition, the company plans to support existing Nikola truck owners, ensuring service continuity and fostering the growth of hydrogen-powered trucking across the United States.
