Hyundai and Jio-bp Expand EV Charging Access Across India

Gurugram - Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL), has partnered with Jio-bp, the EV charging brand of Reliance BP Mobility Limited, to integrate their charging networks and improve EV charging accessibility across India.

As part of the collaboration, EV users will be able to locate and access Jio-bp pulse charging stations through the myHyundai app, making charging more convenient and widely available. With this integration, Hyundai’s EV charging ecosystem now offers access to more than 37,000 charging points nationwide. Hyundai’s high-capacity chargers will also be progressively added to the Jio-bp pulse charge pro app, further expanding charging options for EV customers.

Jio-bp strengthens the partnership with more than 7,000 active EV charging points across 300+ cities in India, significantly expanding charging coverage for EV users. Many stations are located along major national highways, supporting more convenient long-distance electric travel. The network also includes 60 kW to 480 kW DC fast chargers, enabling faster charging for compatible EVs, while maintaining around 96% network uptime.

With the integration of the Jio-bp pulse network, Hyundai’s charging ecosystem available through the myHyundai app has expanded from over 30,000 to more than 37,000 public charging points nationwide. Users can locate and access charging stations through a single digital platform, improving overall charging convenience.

The myHyundai charging network is available to EV owners across all vehicle brands, allowing a wider group of users to discover and use public charging facilities through the app.

Hyundai is also strengthening its own charging infrastructure. The company currently operates 183 DC fast-charging stations and plans to expand this network to 600 stations by 2030, further supporting India’s growing electric mobility ecosystem.
