Pune - Hyundai Construction Equipment., a construction equipment manufacturer, has expanded its crawler excavator range with the launch of the HX300L, a new 30-tonne class model positioned between the HX360L and HX400L.
The HX300L has an operating weight of 31,820 kg and is powered by Hyundai’s DX08 six-cylinder Stage V diesel engine. It produces 207 kW (277 hp), a 9 percent increase over the previous 30-tonne A-Series model, along with 1,230 Nm of torque. With the Electric Power Optimising System (EPOS), the machine delivers up to 7 percent lower fuel consumption and 30 percent lower AdBlue use. Oil and filter service intervals have been extended to 1,000 hours.
The excavator features Hyundai’s full electrohydraulic system with electric joysticks communicating by wire with the valve block, reducing hydraulic losses and improving control. Operators can adjust lever sensitivity and store settings to their key. Optional 2D machine guidance with bucket, slew and grade assist is available, with upgrade capability to 3D. An automatic weighing system supports accurate truck loading and production tracking.
Safety systems include Lift Assist, Advanced Lift Assist and E-Boundary to prevent collisions. The Smart Around View Monitor uses six cameras with AI-based human detection, while radar alerts and an automatic stop function enhance site safety. Four-corner cab beacons and an external microphone improve visibility and communication.
The cab offers one or optional dual 12.8-inch full HD touchscreens, with an internal noise level of 68 dB(A). A digital key system enables smartphone access for up to six users. Premium seating and infotainment are available in a comfort package.
An 11 percent longer track length of 4,040 mm and a 6 percent heavier counterweight improve stability and lifting performance. The standard configuration includes a 6,245 mm monoboom and 3,100 mm dipper arm, delivering 141 kN dipper tearout force and 206 kN bucket tearout force.
The HX300L will be available in three versions: the standard HX300L, the narrow track HX300NL and the long-reach HX300LR.
