Nashville- United States- Hyundai Translead van trailer manufacturer in North America, has unveiled the Juneau refrigerated truck body, a new solution designed to improve thermal efficiency, maximize cargo space, and simplify logistics through a flexible kit-delivery design. The product is expected to become generally available in 2027.

Developed to meet the changing needs of temperature-controlled transport, Juneau offers a customizable platform built for reliable performance in demanding operating conditions. It is made with high-quality structural components and corrosion-resistant materials to ensure durability and long-term dependability. Standard features include an over-cab maintenance platform, integrated steps, and strategically positioned grab handles to support safe and easy daily operation.

Similar to the Anza dry truck body introduced last year, Juneau is designed for kit delivery, making distribution and onsite assembly easier. This approach helps lower shipping costs, streamline logistics, and provide greater flexibility in lead times, while maintaining Hyundai Translead’s standards for quality and reliability.

The Juneau truck body can be configured with a wide range of options, including side doors, walk ramps, side platforms, and liftgate compatibility. Its modular structure, along with universal compatibility with refrigeration units, allows fleets and upfitters to tailor the body to specific cargo and loading needs.

Once fully commercialized, Juneau will come standard with industry-proven polyurethane foam insulation. Hyundai Translead will also offer its advanced HT Hana insulation system as an option. First showcased at TMC 2025, HT Hana is designed to provide improved thermal performance, better interior dimensions, and enhanced long-term serviceability.

Mr. Douglas Coffing, Senior Director of LTL Sales at Hyundai Translead, said Juneau reflects the company’s commitment to smarter engineering across both dry and refrigerated truck body solutions. He added that by combining conventional and advanced thermal options with a kit-delivery model, Hyundai Translead is giving customers greater flexibility and value in everyday operations.
