Moorhead, Minnesota - Ignite Attachments., a construction machinery attachments manufacturer, has introduced a new trailer mover attachment designed to help equipment operators move trailers more easily and safely using skid steers or compact track loaders (CTLs). Marketed with the tagline “Keep your truck parked,” the attachment aims to boost jobsite efficiency and reduce trailer damage in tight spaces.
Weighing just 26.5 pounds, the trailer mover is crafted from high-strength Grade 50 steel and rated for Class 2 hitch loads up to 3,500 pounds. Its lightweight, compact design makes it easy to carry by hand and store conveniently in a work truck or trailer toolbox. The attachment features dual 2-inch receiver slots, giving operators flexibility to mount it based on their specific needs.
Ignite highlights that using a CTL or skid steer to move trailers can significantly improve safety. The attachment’s off-center design allows it to be mounted on either the right or left pad of the skid steer interface. This adaptability gives operators better visibility when maneuvering trailers, reducing the need for spotters and lowering the risk of accidents.
Being able to see the trailer during tight turns and around obstacles dramatically reduced the need for spotters and improved overall jobsite safety. Operators also noted the ease of switching the mover from one side of the machine to the other when maneuvering in varied jobsite layouts.
Founded in 2022, Ignite Attachments offers a range of compact equipment attachments, parts, and lubricants sold directly to consumers.
