Moorhead, Minnesota - Ignite Attachments., a compact equipment manufacturer, has launched a new trailer hitch attachment designed to help compact loader operators move trailers quickly and safely on crowded job sites, without ever starting a truck. Engineered for skid steers and compact track loaders, the lightweight, highly visible attachment aims to save time and reduce hassle for contractors, landscapers, rental centers, and small-acreage farmers.

Weighing just 26.5 pounds, the loader trailer mover is compact enough to store in a truck or trailer toolbox and light enough to carry by hand. Despite its small size, it’s built from high-strength Grade 50 steel and rated to handle Class 2 hitch loads up to 3,500 pounds, making it suitable for daily job site demands. Two 2-inch receiver slots provide flexibility in mounting, so operators can adjust based on the layout of each site.

Ignite’s loader trailer mover lets skid steers and track loaders approach trailers head-on, improving visibility and reducing collision risk compared to backing up with a truck. Its off-center design gives operators clearer sightlines during tight turns, cutting the need for spotters. In testing, operators reported faster hookups and smoother maneuvering, saving time and boosting job site safety.
