Ironman Tires Unveils Enhanced I-Series Gen 2 Truck Tires

I-Series Gen 2 lineup, designed for durability and performance in trucking. Backed by a six-year warranty, these tires aim to improve fuel efficiency and offer strong protection.

Huntersville, NC, United States- Ironman Tires, a brand of Hercules Tire and Rubber Company under American Tire Distributors (ATD), has introduced four new tires to its I-Series Gen 2 lineup. These innovative, cost-efficient tires are designed to meet the tough demands of today's trucking industry.

Ironman Tires stands behind the I-Series Gen 2 with utmost confidence, offering an improved Peace of Mind Warranty, which was increased for the I-Series Gen 2 to six years, up from the previous five. The extended protection policy covers defects in workmanship and materials and includes a casing allowance for two retreads. This enhanced coverage ensures drivers can trust in the performance and reliability of their tires, driving with confidence.

Ironman is adding the I-31M, I-42W, I-28D and the I-52A to its I-Series Gen 2 portfolio, joining the I-19A, I-37D, I-48T and I-61S that were introduced in August 2023.

I-28D (Regional/Long-Haul Drive Tire): Built with advanced compounds to reduce rolling resistance and boost fuel efficiency, the I-28D offers enhanced durability, traction, and longevity. Its 28/32nds tread depth, wide contact patch, and zig-zag sipes improve traction and stability, while the solid closed shoulder provides rigidity for long-haul and regional use.

I-31M (All-Position Tire for On/Off-Highway): Designed for rugged conditions, the I-31M offers superior traction with a 22/32nds tread depth and heat-resistant compound, improving mileage by 10%. Stone ejectors and a curb guard protect against damage, while a jagged shoulder increases off-road performance.

I-42W (Wide-Base All-Position Tire for Heavy Loads): With deep treads, a wide footprint, and a large block pattern, the I-42W delivers improved mileage and cut-and-chip resistance. It features tire bars for better drainage and a curb guard for sidewall protection in off-road scenarios.

I-52A (Steer/All-Position Tire for High-Scrub Regions): Optimized for regional stop-and-go routes, the I-52A improves fuel economy and offers deep 22/32nds tread for extended wear. Wavy outer grooves enhance tear resistance, while stone ejectors protect against belt damage.
