Iveco Bus secures order for 106 Buses to enhance Public Transport in Madeira

Vénissieux, France- Iveco Bus., has significant agreement with two prominent operators, Siga Rodoeste (Rodoeste) and Companhia de Autocarros da Madeira S.A (CAM), as part of the "Concession for the public service of road passenger transport in the Autonomous Region of Madeira." This groundbreaking deal involves the supply of a total of 106 Iveco Bus Crossway and Evadys buses, a move that is poised to rejuvenate the operators' fleets, with delivery scheduled for the year 2024.
The contract was inked to deliver 106 Iveco Bus Crossway and Evadys vehicles, each measuring 10 or 12 meters, with the dependable 400 horsepower Cursor 9 engine created by FPT Industrial and using its proprietary HI-SCR technology. Additionally, they have all the modern conveniences and safety features inside to give passengers a relaxing and safe travel.
Because they are specifically created to fulfill the demands of regional routes, medium-distance local tourism services, airport shuttle services, and excursions, Crossway and Evadys vehicles provide transport operators with unparalleled profitability and versatility. The Crossway and Evadys series are produced at the Vsoké Mto plant (Czech Republic), which has extensive experience building buses for intercity and mid-distance tourism services.
The Iveco Bregs dealer will provide the vehicles with ongoing after-sales support and extended assistance in the Autonomous Region of Madeira, with specialized personnel to ensure an efficient operation.
