Sao Paulo, Brazil - Jacto., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, has introduced its BalanceControl boom stability technology on Uniport 3030 and 4530 sprayers, featuring 32-meter and 36-meter booms, and launched the Uniport 3030 with its Vortex air assistance system.
BalanceControl enhances coverage of plant protection products by increasing droplet density across the spray swath, enabling longer operation at ideal spraying heights while reducing boom oscillations and delivering operational gains of up to 30%. The system combines mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic solutions that automatically adjust boom positions to terrain variations, improving durability and reducing operator intervention. It provides up to 72% higher coverage and up to 92% greater droplet density compared to conventional systems.
Jacto has also updated the Uniport lineup. The Uniport 2030 and 2530 now feature 11 sections with MultiControl technology for greater input savings, while the Uniport 2000 and 2030 include a new canopy opener. Track width options of 3.05 m and 3.6 m are available for the 2030, 2530, and 3030 models, along with new EVOS 800 and EVOS 1000 monitors to improve usability.
The Vortex system on the Uniport 3030 uses air assistance to enhance droplet formation, transport, and deposition, improving coverage in dense crops. It reduces drift by up to 35%, increases deposit by up to 2%, and can boost operational productivity by up to 35%. The technology may also reduce the number of applications, saving time, fuel, and inputs while lowering environmental impact, with the option to operate without air assistance depending on crop stage.
