Sao Paulo, Brazil - Jacto., an agricultural equipment manufacturer, has introduced the new 5030 NPK spreader implement, designed to convert self-propelled agricultural machinery into a future-ready fertilizer spreader. Compatible with multi-brand equipment, the new implement helps farmers modernize existing machines while delivering fertilizer savings of up to 15%.
The 5030 NPK features a 5,000-kg stainless-steel hopper with high corrosion resistance, making it suitable for demanding fertilizer application conditions. According to Jacto, the implement allows farmers to extend the life and productivity of second-hand or older machinery while gaining access to advanced spreading technologies.
Mr. Rodrigo Madeira, Product Planning Manager at Jacto, said, “By using second-hand and older machinery, we increase their efficiency and make technologies that deliver high operational performance more accessible to farmers.”
The implement incorporates the same fertilization technologies used in the Uniport 5030 NPK fertilizer spreader. These include automatic 12-section control, which reduces overlap during applications and can cut fertilizer costs by up to 15%, as well as boundary control, which helps prevent fertilizer from being spread onto roads and other unwanted areas.
The disc and blade assembly of the 5030 NPK is engineered to provide uniform fertilizer distribution across spreading widths of up to 50 meters. An optional disc assembly enables the spreader to handle powdered inputs such as limestone. The machine also features an automatic system that adjusts the fertilizer drop point onto the discs without requiring changes to blade angles or rotation.
In addition, the 5030 NPK is compatible with Jacto’s key precision agriculture solutions, including Autopilot, Variable Rate Application, and the EKOS telemetry platform, allowing farmers to improve application accuracy and operational management. The implement can also be used with the Jacto SmartSet app, which supports spread-width adjustment based on fertilizer type.
Jacto will officially launch the new 5030 NPK during ShowSafra 2026, scheduled for March 23 to 27 in Lucas do Rio Verde, Mato Grosso, Brazil. The company will also showcase other solutions at the event, including its recently introduced BalanceControl system.
