New Delhi, India- Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles., has launched the new Jawa 42 in India, completing the brand’s All Stars range. The motorcycle gets a bolder and more muscular design, along with updated styling, ergonomics and handling.
The new Jawa 42 features a wider stance, redesigned rear section, wider rear fender and a 150/70 R17 rear tyre. It also gets new alloy wheels, redesigned side panels, updated foot pegs and a compact upswept exhaust. The 790mm seat has also been redesigned with improved cushioning for better comfort.
Jawa has made several engineering changes to improve the motorcycle’s riding experience. The frame and swingarm stiffness, ergonomics, handling and comfort have been revised to make the Jawa 42 more agile and controlled. The motorcycle continues with the signature 13.2-litre fuel tank, round headlamp and bench-style seat.
The Jawa 42 is powered by a 294.72cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled DOHC engine producing 27 bhp and 26.3 Nm of torque. It comes with a six-speed gearbox, a 280mm front disc, a 240mm rear disc and dual-channel ABS.
The new Jawa 42 completes the All Stars range alongside the Jawa 42 FJ and Jawa 42 Bobber. The motorcycle is priced between ₹1.79 lakh and ₹1.89 lakh, depending on the colour option, making it a sporty addition to Jawa’s motorcycle lineup in India.
