Staffordshire, England – J.C. Bamford Excavators Limited (JCB)., an agricultural equipment manufacturer, has strengthened its Loadall agricultural telescopic handler lineup with the launch of two new 7.0-metre models — the Loadall 546-70 and Loadall 555-70 — delivering higher lift capacities and greater breakout forces without increasing overall machine size.
Mr. John Smith, Managing Director, JCB, said, “The new Loadall 546-70 and 555-70 illustrate JCB’s determination to meet the evolving needs of farmers and contractors with innovative and productivity-led solutions. Both models offer increased performance in a package that remains just as compact and agile as our existing 7.0-metre machines.”
The Loadall 546-70 offers a maximum lift capacity of 4.6 tonnes, representing an 8.7% (400 kg) increase over the 542-70, while maintaining its maneuverability for use around buildings and confined spaces. It will be available in three configurations:
- Agri Super (97 kW / 130 hp)
- Agri Xtra (112 kW / 150 hp)
- Agri Pro (129 kW / 173 hp)
The Loadall 555-70, the more powerful of the two, boasts a 5.5-tonne lift capacity, nearly 24% higher than the 542-70. It will be offered in Agri Xtra and Agri Pro variants.
Both models come equipped with a 160-litre/min Smart Hydraulics system and JCB’s award-winning DualTech VT drive, combining hydrostatic and powershift elements for seamless transitions between low-speed precision and high-speed performance.
The Agri Pro variants feature a 50 kph DualTech VT transmission for faster, more efficient transport between sites, with automatic four-wheel drive engagement under braking for enhanced stability. Optional upgrades include air trailer braking, the IntelliAssist automation suite, the IntelliWeigh load weighing system, and Sway Control for improved safety on uneven terrain.
With these innovations, JCB reinforces its leadership in agricultural machinery, offering greater productivity, efficiency, and operator comfort.
