Jio Things and MediaTek launch 4G Smart Android Cluster and Module for 2-wheelers

New Delhi -MediaTek, a semiconductor company, powering over 2 billion connected devices a year, and JioThings Limited, subsidiary of Jio Platforms Limited and the only provider of end-to-end cutting-edge IoT solutions, today announced the launch of “Made in India” Smart Digital Cluster and Smart Module specially tailored for the 2-wheeler (2W) market. This strategic collaboration introduces an Android-based smart digital cluster solution for India and global markets. The JioThings smart digital cluster uses AvniOS, an AOSP-based OS offering OEMs a competitive edge with MediaTek chipset performance and firmware support. Key features include real-time data analytics, customizable interfaces, voice recognition, and seamless integration with vehicle controllers, IoT-enabled charging infrastructure, and Smart Battery Management for EVs. Customers will benefit from the “Jio Automotive App Suite,” featuring services like Jio Voice Assistant, JioSaavn, JioPages, and JioXploR, enhancing the 2-wheeler user experience.
