Mumbai- Jitendra New EV Tech Pvt. Ltd., an electric two wheeler manufacture has announced that its JMT 1000 SW electric scooter will adopt the LECCS (Light Electric Combined Charging System) connector. This connector, created specifically for light electric vehicles (LEVs) in India, will enable Jitendra EV customers to use Ather’s fast-charging network, helping to advance the adoption of electric mobility across the country.

The LECCS connector allows the JMT 1000 SW to access fast-charging stations on the AtherGrid network. Currently, only the JMT 1000 SW supports Ather’s fast-charging network. Jitendra EV intends to extend this feature to more models in the future. After a successful pilot test in Goa, the company is now preparing for widespread production to offer this technology to customers across India.

The JMT 1000 SW is delivering a 100 km on a single charge and taking just 50 minutes to fully recharge. The scooter features a display cluster that provides information on distance remaining, fault notifications, thermal alerts, battery level, and charging time. It also includes a USB charging port, three selectable speed modes, and a reverse gear.
