JK Fenner Partners with NMC Motors for E-Axle Tech

Chennai- JK Fenner India Ltd., a manufacturer of power transmission, fluid transfer, and sealing systems, has announced a strategic technology partnership with Korea-based NMC Motors to develop e-axle solutions for electric three-wheelers and small commercial vehicles (SCVs). The collaboration, formalized during a signing ceremony in Chennai, marks a significant step in JK Fenner’s expansion into the electric mobility space.

Under the agreement, JK Fenner will establish a dedicated e-axle manufacturing facility, initially targeting India’s rapidly growing three-wheeler and SCV markets, with potential expansion into electric four-wheelers in the future. The company will receive technical support and technology transfer from NMC Motors to enable in-house product development and localized production of e-axle systems.

Known for its engineering excellence in automotive components, JK Fenner is already active in the EV sector through its transmission and sealing systems. This partnership with NMC Motors will allow the company to integrate advanced Korean EV technologies, strengthening its capabilities and accelerating its position in both domestic and international electric vehicle markets.
