Delhi- JK Tyre & Industries Ltd., has appointed Dr. Arun Kumar Jaura as Chief Technology Officer, effective February 3, 2025, to strengthen its technology, R&D, and succession planning. As part of the senior management team, he will drive technological and research advancements per his appointment terms.

Dr. Jaura holds Master’s degree from IIT Madras, PhD from Concordia University, Canada with a Gold Medal. He has also completed Executive Education Programme from Harvard Business School as well as University of Michigan. He brings with him very relevant and rich experience of over four decades in India and global markets. Dr. Jaura has worked in Senior Leadership roles in R&D and Sustainability functions, Product Development in Automotive sector and Hybrid vehicle Engg., etc. in India and abroad. He has been one of the founding members of Government’s National Mission of Electric Mobility since January 2013. He is also holding leadership positions in Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry and European Advisory Committee for sustainable development
