      Bangalore – JK Tyre & Industries Ltd., a tyre manufacturer, unveiled four new Off-the-Road (OTR) tyres at the 13th edition of CII EXCON 2025, South Asia’s largest construction equipment trade fair, held at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC).

      The launch was marked by Dr. R. Mukhopadhyay, Director (R&D), and expands JK Tyre’s OTR portfolio, reinforcing its commitment to innovation in the construction and mining sectors.

      The highlight of the launch is the 355/55D625 SKY GRIP, designed for Aerial Work Platforms (AWPs) and Boom Lifts. Engineered for enhanced stability, traction, and reliable performance at elevated heights, the tyre is suitable for telescopic and articulated boom lifts, telehandlers, and rough-terrain aerial platforms.

      Additionally, three other OTR tyres were introduced for industrial and mining applications:

      • 14.00-25 GTL PLUS – Optimised for backhoe loaders, offering durability and stability during heavy loading and excavation.
      • 23.5-25 GTL PLUS – Designed for wheel loaders, delivering superior traction and endurance on challenging surfaces.
      • 14.00-20 VEM AS-UG – Built for underground mining shuttle cars, featuring a reinforced casing and abrasion-resistant compound for demanding environments.

      Mr. Srinivasu Allaphan, Director of Sales & Marketing, JK Tyre, said, “India’s infrastructure sector is undergoing a transformative phase. With our new OTR range at EXCON, we aim to support critical construction, mining, and industrial operations with enhanced productivity, durability, and operational safety.”
