JLG Expands Micro Electric Scissor Lift Lineup in North America

Pennsylvania, United States - JLG Industries, Inc., a mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs) and telehandlers manufacturer, has expanded its micro electric scissor lift lineup in North America with the rebranded ES1330M and ES1530M models. Formerly known as the ES1330L and ES1530L, these compact, lightweight, electric-powered lifts now join the existing ES1930M to complete JLG’s micro-sized scissor lift range.

Engineered specifically for use in tight indoor and outdoor spaces, the ES1330M and ES1530M offer safe and efficient solutions for working at height in areas such as data centers, hospitals, libraries, museums, and commercial buildings. Ideal for tasks like construction, remodeling, and facility maintenance, these lifts support finishing work including HVAC installation, electrical, IT systems, fire suppression, signage, and painting. Their zero turning radius allows exceptional maneuverability in confined spaces, while the slim profile with fixed rails enables easy passage through standard doorways without compromising structural strength.

A standard leak containment system, with custom-fit trays, helps protect delicate flooring. Weighing under 2,000 lbs, these lightweight lifts can be safely used on weight-sensitive surfaces and easily transported via freight elevators, enabling multiple units to operate in the same area. Additionally, the lifts are equipped with advanced onboard technology, including JLG’s exclusive load-sensing system, variable tilt functionality for enhanced reach on uneven terrain, and the ClearSky Smart Fleet IoT platform for real-time diagnostics and connectivity.

JLG’s micro-sized scissor lifts can be customized with a range of productivity-boosting accessories to meet specific job site needs. These include an upcoming four-rail enclosed mid-rail deck for added operator security, a hostile environment protection package for challenging conditions, and a multi-display indicator that provides real-time updates on battery status and diagnostic trouble codes. Operators can also opt for the SkySense enhanced detection system for improved safety and choose lithium-ion battery options for extended runtime and reduced maintenance.
