Pennsylvania, USA - JLG Industries., a construction equipment manufacturer, has completed the overhaul of its SkyTrak telehandler range with the introduction of the updated 10042, 10054 and 12054 models, designed for heavy construction, infrastructure, industrial and material-handling applications.

The three telehandlers offer lifting capacities of up to 12,000 lb and maximum lift heights of up to 53 ft 2 in, supporting applications such as pallet handling, material staging, steel erection and large-equipment handling.

All three models are powered by a 110-hp Cummins F3.8 Tier 4 Final diesel engine paired with a four-speed Powershift transmission. The transmission features SmartShift technology, which automatically shifts between third and fourth gears to improve operating smoothness and efficiency.

JLG has also introduced an advanced control system with improved diagnostics and expanded functionality. Optional features include Load Stability Indication (LSI), which monitors forward load capacity and provides visual indicators, and Seatbelt Engagement and Operator Presence (SEAOP), which provides alerts and restricts certain machine functions when operator engagement requirements are not met.

Cab updates include a larger LCD display, improved single-page load charts and a new electric-over-hydraulic joystick with integrated auxiliary hydraulic and attachment tilt controls. Auxiliary hydraulic connections have been repositioned to the side of the boom head to simplify attachment changes.

The updated SkyTrak models also feature JLG ClearSky Smart Fleet connectivity for fleet management and troubleshooting. Optional technology packages include a multiview reverse camera system, reverse sensing with audible cab alerts and a white-noise backup alarm.
