McConnellsburg, USA - JLG Industries, Inc., an Oshkosh Corporation business and a mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs) and telehandlers manufacturer, has unveiled the upcoming 860SJ+ telescopic boom lift, a new model developed to deliver greater lifting capacity than the standard 860SJ while adding enhanced operating and service capabilities.

Designed for demanding applications such as construction, steel erection, and industrial maintenance, the 860SJ+ is aimed at jobs that require significant horizontal or angled reach at height.

Mr. Nate Hoover, Director of product management and marketing for booms at JLG, said, “The new “plus” model builds on the existing 860SJ platform, which offers a platform height of 86 feet. While full specifications have not yet been released, JLG confirmed that the 860SJ+ will provide a higher lift capacity than the standard model’s 750-pound rating, allowing operators to handle heavier loads more efficiently.”

Key upgrades on the 860SJ+ include improved maneuverability for navigating complex jobsites and obstacles at height, the ability to power high-demand welding equipment directly from the platform when equipped with approved power options, and easier servicing through better access to service points and centralized maintenance components.

The machine will also feature JLG’s ClearSky Smart Fleet IoT platform, enabling users to monitor equipment performance, track usage, and support preventive maintenance planning.
