JLG Unveils the E313 Electric Telehandler

McConnellsburg, United States- JLG Industries, Inc., a manufacturer of mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs) and telehandlers, has introduced the E313, an electric telehandler designed for all-terrain and off-road use. This zero-emission, low-noise machine is ideal for material handling in indoor, urban, residential, and municipal projects.

Mr. John Boehme, JLG’s senior product manager for telehandlers, said, "As job sites evolve, machines need to evolve with them. Our new E313 electric-powered telehandler transforms how work is done in emission-free spaces and noise-sensitive environments by delivering a quieter, more efficient working experience.”

The JLG E313 electric telehandler offers a 3,500-lb (1,587.57-kg) lift capacity, a 13-ft 1-in (3.99-m) lift height, a 5-ft 8-in (1.73-m) forward reach, and a 9.3-mph (14.97-km/h) travel speed. This ultra-compact, electric-powered machine delivers strong performance for loading and unloading trucks, moving materials, and accessing work at height in single-story buildings.

The electric system features an 18.6-kWh capacity with six maintenance-free 48V lithium-ion batteries, ensuring zero-emission operation and up to four hours of continuous use, ideal for overnight projects. Dual on-board chargers (110V and 220V) facilitate convenient recharging. Efficient electric drive motors eliminate the need for fuel and oil, reducing maintenance and operating costs. With a two-speed electric transmission (high-speed 2WD and low-speed 4WD), it adapts to various job site conditions. The two-wheel rear pivot steering minimizes ground disturbance, while the Load Stability Indication (LSI) system enhances safety during load handling. Additionally, the Seatbelt Engagement and Operator Presence system provides visual and audible alarms to ensure operator safety.

The new electric telehandler from JLG features a universal skid-steer coupler system for enhanced versatility, allowing it to attach to various telehandler and skid-steer attachments like carriages, forks, and buckets. An integrated hitch enables efficient hauling of tools on the job site, reducing the need for additional equipment.
