JML Expands Chennai Plant for Sustainability and Increased Production

Tamil Nadu - JCBL Marrel Tippers Limited (JML)., a mobility solutions provider, has expanded its advanced manufacturing facility in Oragadam, Chennai. A part of the JCBL Group, this strategic expansion reflects JML commitment to meeting the rising demand for its diverse, high-quality, and technically advanced products while emphasizing sustainable manufacturing practices.

JML facility expansion boosts production capacity by 25% and diversifies its portfolio to serve sectors like Defense, Automotive, Navy, Railways, Construction, Petroleum, Mining, Power Transmission, and Heavy Fabrication.

JML expansion has significantly grown its customer base, adding 200 local jobs and opportunities for 40 new suppliers in Tamil Nadu. The first phase added 60,000 sq. ft. to its 1 lakh sq. ft. facility, with another 50,000 sq. ft. planned for phase two. JML has also reserved 6 acres for future projects slated for FY 2025-26.

JML expanded facility will feature advanced technologies like laser cutting, robotic welding, CNC machining, airless painting, and heavy-duty EOT cranes to ensure efficient production and top-tier quality. Adopting lean manufacturing principles, the plant will minimize waste, boost efficiency, and deliver consistent, high-quality output.
