JOST Invests EUR 15 million in Trailer Dynamics

This partnership aims to further develop zero-emission transport solutions, with JOST serving as a supplier and strategic partner.

Neu-Isenburg Germany- JOST Werke SE (JOST)., a producer and supplier of safety-critical systems for the commercial vehicle industry, is investing EUR 15 million (INR 1,350 crore) in Trailer Dynamics GmbH., a start-up focused on trailer electrification. This strategic investment aims to enhance JOST's technological capabilities in the commercial vehicle industry.

Founded in 2018, Trailer Dynamics GmbH is revolutionizing the transport industry with its intelligent electric drivetrain for e-trailers, boosting electric truck range and cutting greenhouse gas emissions. Recently named "Innovator of the Year 2024" by the TOP 100 innovation competition, the company is poised to industrialize its market-ready series product within 18 months. JOST has made a significant investment in Trailer Dynamics, planning to serve as both a supplier and strategic partner for the start-up’s plug & play electrification kit.
