Partners to develop scalable automation technologies for logistics, addressing decarbonization and the driver shortage while enhancing efficiency and safety
Date: October 25, 2024Neu-Isenburg, Germany- JOST Werke SE., a producer and supplier of safety-critical systems for commercial vehicles, has formed a strategic development partnership with Munich-based FERNRIDE GmbH., a Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain and Storage company. The partners want to drive forward important future topics in the logistics sector, focusing on decarbonization, automation, and solutions for the driver shortage.
The collaboration will leverage both companies’ expertise and resources to develop scalable technologies that automate truck operations in closed environments, such as logistics sites and depots. The long-term vision is to enhance productivity for skilled professionals and ensure safety through highly automated solutions tailored to these specialized areas.
