Date: April 21, 2025Pune- India Kawasaki Motors Private Limited., has introduced the 2025 Eliminator 500 cruiser motorcycle in India, hike over its predecessor. Despite the price bump, the new model retains its classic styling, robust hardware, and signature all-black Metallic Flat Spark paint scheme unchanged and as striking as ever.
The Eliminator 500 blends timeless cruiser charm with modern functionality. Its low-slung, sinewy profile is complemented by exposed frame and engine components, a sculpted fuel tank, round LED headlamp, retro mirrors, and a 2-into-1 exhaust system with brushed silver and copper accents. The split-seat setup and wide handlebars enhance its road presence while promoting comfort.
Powered by a 451 cc liquid-cooled, 4-stroke parallel twin engine, the Eliminator delivers 45 PS at 9,000 rpm and 42.6 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm. Paired with a 6-speed return-shift transmission and standard Assist & Slipper Clutch, the bike ensures smoother downshifts and a light clutch feel—great for both city commutes and weekend rides.
Built on a high-tensile steel trellis frame, it features telescopic front forks and swingarm rear suspension, offering 120 mm and 90 mm of travel respectively. The 18-inch front and 16-inch rear wheels are fitted with 130/70 and 150/80 tyres, and braking duties are handled by 310 mm and 240 mm discs with dual-piston calipers and standard dual-channel ABS.
At just 735 mm, the low seat height ensures easy access and handling for riders of all sizes. The upright ergonomics, forward-set foot pegs, and scooped rider seat make for a relaxed and confident ride. Kawasaki’s ERGO-FIT system adds another layer of customization, allowing riders to adjust the handlebar, pegs, and seat setup for their perfect fit.
Tech-wise, the Eliminator 500 is equipped with a fully digital round LCD display showing a bar-style tachometer, gear position, trip meter, fuel gauge, clock, and more. Riders can also connect their smartphone via Bluetooth to the RIDEOLOGY THE APP for call alerts, maintenance reminders, and ride logs—though navigation and riding modes are not included.
With a curb mass of 176 kg, 13-liter fuel tank, and 150 mm ground clearance, the 2025 Eliminator 500 is light, responsive, and built for pure enjoyment. Whether you're cruising through city streets or exploring the open road, this bike invites you to ride with confidence and style.
