Tokyo, Japan - Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd., a motorcycles manufacturer, has officially launched the 2026 iteration of its supersport motorcycle, the Ninja ZX-6R, featuring a striking new Lime Green paint scheme. This update focuses solely on aesthetics, with the bike now sporting refreshed graphics as its standout change.

Mechanically, the 2026 Ninja ZX-6R remains unchanged. It continues to be powered by a 636cc inline-four engine delivering 127bhp with ram air intake (122bhp without), and a peak torque of 69Nm at 11,000rpm. The engine, characteristic of an inline-four supersport, produces its best performance in the higher rev range and is paired with a six-speed gearbox featuring an assist and slipper clutch.

On the tech front, the ZX-6R comes equipped with a TFT instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, four-level traction control, two power modes, and a quickshifter for clutchless upshifts. Riders can choose from four riding modes – Sport, Road, Rain, and Rider – with the Rider mode allowing full customization of power output, traction control, and ABS intervention.

The 2026 Ninja ZX-6R blends Kawasaki’s high-revving performance with modern features, while its fresh styling gives the iconic supersport a renewed visual appeal.
