Hyderabad- KETO Motors Pvt Ltd., has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Telangana at the Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025, held at Bharat Future City, to set up an electric bus manufacturing facility in Jadcherla. The proposed project involves an investment of INR 300 crore, will focus on 9-metre electric buses, and is expected to generate more than 2,000 direct jobs over the next three years.
Telangana Minister for Information Technology, Electronics & Communications, Industries & Commerce, and Legislative Affairs, D. Sridhar Babu, was present for the signing. The state government said it will support the initiative by enabling statutory and regulatory clearances through the TG-iPASS single-window system.
Speaking on the development, Babu said the investment strengthens Telangana’s EV value chain, encourages advanced manufacturing, and creates large-scale employment, reinforcing the state’s push toward clean mobility and sustainable economic growth.
KETO Motors Director Venkatesh Challa said the Jadcherla facility will help the company scale up production, manufacture globally benchmarked electric buses, and contribute to Telangana’s vision for greener public transport. He added that the MoU is an important milestone in the company’s long-term growth plan and aligns with efforts to boost domestic EV manufacturing.
Both KETO Motors and the Telangana government said they will work closely to ensure the timely establishment of the plant and support the broader development of India’s electric mobility ecosystem.
