New GTX variant in both Petrol and Diesel engines and automatic transmission in Seltos and Sonet
Date: July 8, 2024New Delhi- Kia Motors India Private Limited., a premium carmaker, is refreshing its trim line-up for Seltos and Sonet are updated with 5 new variants each, including the new X-Line. Seltos now offers 21 variants, Sonet 22, with new GTX options in Petrol DCT and Diesel AT powertrain and transmission. Sonet also introduces a turbo petrol option under 10 Lakh with the Smartstream G1.0 HTK iMT.
Kia India has upgraded the Seltos GTX+ with Solar Glass and White calipers, while introducing the Aurora Black Pearl color. The new GTX variant offers ADAS, a sliding armrest, and a 360-degree camera. In the Sonet, lower trims now feature ISOFIX, Wireless Phone Charger, Rear Wipers and Washers, and Diamond-Cut Alloy Wheels. The GTX variants enhance the GT Line trims in both models.

Seltos includes the GTX trim, featuring additions such as solar glass, white calipers both front and rear, ventilated seats, ADAS with front camera and front radar, 360-degree camera, and a sliding center armrest. It is powered by the Smartstream G1.5 TGDi turbo petrol engine paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (7DCT). The X-line variant offers an Aurora Black Pearl finish for an all-black glossy appearance and solar glass. The GTX+ variant shares features with the GTX and adds solar glass and white calipers front and rear is priced at INR 1,899,900 ex-showroom Pan India.
Sonet lineup now includes the GTX trim with features such as drive and traction control modes, leatherette seats, ventilated seats, paddle shifters, and a 360-degree camera with SVM. Engine options include the Smartstream G1.5 TGDi turbo petrol and diesel 1.5L CRDi VGT. The HTX variant adds a wireless phone charger, rear wiper and washer, and R16 diamond-cut alloy wheels. HTK+ offers LED headlamps and multiple engine choices, while HTK and HTK (O) feature various engine options with ISOFIX child seat anchors. Additional trims include HTK, HTE (O), and THE.
The Sonet variant lineup includes the HTK with a G1.0 TGDi engine and iMT transmission, priced at INR 959,900 ex-showroom Pan India. The GTX variant offers options with a 1.0 TGDi engine paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (7DCT) at INR 1,370,900 and a 1.5 CRDi engine with a 6-speed automatic transmission (6AT) at INR 1,455,900.
