Kinetic Engineering Expands Nationwide with DX EV Scooter

Pune, India- Kinetic Engineering Ltd. (KEL)., a two-wheeler and automotive components manufacturing company and the flagship of the Kinetic Group, announced that its promoter group has infused additional capital into the company, demonstrating strong confidence in Kinetic’s growth plans. The investment was made through the conversion of warrants, subject to regulatory approvals, and the promoter shareholding has increased to 65 percent.

Kinetic Engineering is focusing on emerging mobility technologies, including electric vehicle components, battery systems, and precision engineering solutions for global OEMs. The company continues to support both traditional automotive programs and next-generation electric mobility platforms, strengthening its role in India’s evolving mobility ecosystem.

Mr. Ajinkya Firodia, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Kinetic Engineering Ltd., said, "the company is seeing strong growth across its businesses. He highlighted that the response to the Kinetic DX electric scooter, launched by the subsidiary, has been very positive. The company plans to expand its dealer network nationwide with more than 150 dealers this year."

Kinetic Engineering’s subsidiary, Kinetic Watts and Volts, in which KEL holds an 80 percent stake, recently launched the electric version of the Kinetic DX scooter. The scooter features patented technologies such as Easy Charge™, Easy FLIP™, and Easy Key™, along with a metal body and 37-litre under-seat storage, one of the largest in its segment. It is powered by the Range-X LFP battery, offering improved durability and safety compared with conventional battery technologies.

The subsidiary has already started sales and service operations in Pune, Mumbai, Vadodara, Surat, Indore, and Delhi NCR, with plans to expand nationwide as demand for electric two-wheelers grows.
