Lincolnshire, UK – Knight Farm Machinery., a farm machinery manufacturer, has expanded its product portfolio beyond sprayer technology with the launch of a new range of front-mounted tanks designed for liquid crop nutrition application. The development marks the company’s entry into the applicator segment, enabling farmers to integrate liquid fertiliser delivery with other field operations.
The new front tank systems allow liquid fertilisers or crop nutrition products to be supplied to rear-mounted implements, creating a combined system that supports simultaneous operations in the field. By linking nutrient application with activities such as drilling or cultivation, the system helps reduce the number of field passes and improve overall operational efficiency during critical cropping periods.
The range is available in three capacity options—1,300 litres, 1,500 litres and 1,900 litres. Each tank is mounted on a heavy-duty chassis with two-pack protective paint and integrated parking stands. Road lighting and safety markers are included, while the tank design ensures clear forward visibility from the tractor cab.
For operation, the tanks feature a front fill point with integrated filtration, a high-volume centrifugal pump and a rear delivery pipe that supplies liquid to rear implements. Electronic transfer control can be managed directly from the tractor cab for improved operator convenience.
Knight also offers several optional upgrades, including ISOBUS compatibility, independent rate and pressure control, automated tank filling, the company’s Pro-series induction hopper and a six-cylinder diaphragm pump. These features allow the system to be configured according to different farm requirements and application conditions.
With the introduction of the new front tank systems, Knight aims to provide growers with a flexible solution for integrating liquid nutrient application into existing field operations while improving efficiency and reducing operational time.
