Škoda Unveils Second-Gen Kodiaq RS

Kodiaq RS SUV, featuring a 2.0 TSI engine with 195 kW (265 hp) and a 0-100 km/h time of 6.3 seconds. It offers a sporty design, all-wheel drive, and a choice of two stylish interior options.

Mlada Boleslav, Czech Republic- Škoda Auto a.s., has unveiled the sportier, second-generation Kodiaq RS SUV. This dynamic version is powered by a robust 2.0 TSI engine producing 195 kW (265 hp) and boasts signature RS styling, including gloss black accents, sporty bumpers, and a horizontal light strip on the grille. Standard features include LED Matrix headlights, progressive steering, DCC Plus, and a premium Canton sound system. Inside, two distinct design options are available, catering to both style and comfort.

Mr. Johannes Neft, Škoda Auto Board Member for Technical Development, said, "The all-new Kodiaq RS features a new, even more powerful 2.0 TSI engine, now with an output of 195 kW (265 hp), thus providing 15 kW (20 hp) more than its predecessor. Furthermore the new Kodiaq RS comes with all-wheel drive for the best possible traction on all surfaces. Ventilated brake discs on all four wheels and two-piston brake calipers on the front axle provide the necessary stopping power. The most dynamic Kodiaq perfectly blends sportiness with everyday practicality."

The Škoda Kodiaq RS sports an array of black accents that define its dynamic design. Key features include a glossy black grille frame with a horizontal light strip, black exterior mirror covers, roof rails, and D-pillar, connecting the darkened side and rear windows. A sleek, sporty front bumper and body-colored rear bumper complete the look, alongside Škoda lettering and model designation in black. Exclusive 20-inch polished black Elias alloy wheels highlight the red brake calipers and ventilated discs for added performance. Available in eight colors, including the new Bronx Gold Metallic, the Kodiaq RS exemplifies sporty sophistication.

LED Matrix beam headlights, animated welcome lighting, and LED rear lights with dynamic indicators. Standard features also include the KESSY Advanced system with hands-free access and the advanced DCC Plus Dynamic Chassis Control, offering 15 adjustable damping settings from comfort to sport, along with multiple drive modes including Eco, Sport, and Off-Road. Inside, the spacious cabin benefits from the high-quality Canton sound system for an immersive audio experience.

The Škoda Kodiaq RS features an upgraded 2.0 TSI petrol engine, delivering 195 kW (265 hp) and 400 Nm of torque—20 hp more than its predecessor. Meeting EU 6 EB emissions standards, the engine is paired with a standard 7-speed DSG transmission for all-wheel torque distribution. Progressive steering and Dynamic Sound Boost enhance the driving experience, ensuring safe, agile handling with a sporty engine sound.

The Škoda Kodiaq RS is powered by a 2.0 TSI engine delivering 195 kW (265 hp) and 400 Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed DSG and all-wheel drive. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.3 seconds, with a top speed of 231 km/h, combining impressive performance with agility.

The Škoda Kodiaq RS offers two sporty interiors: the RS Lounge with black Suedia/artificial leather seats, and the RS Suite with black perforated leather. Both feature red stitching, electric front seats with memory, and a 3-spoke RS steering wheel. Acoustic side windows enhance cabin quietness, and a 10-inch Virtual Cockpit is standard, with an optional 13-inch screen upgrade.
