Krone Launches EasyCut R 360 Collect Mower

Spelle, Germany – Krone Group., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, has introduced the new EasyCut R 360 Collect rear-mounted mower featuring an integrated auger conveyor system designed to improve mowing efficiency and optimize crop handling during forage harvesting operations.

The new EasyCut R 360 Collect combines Krone’s proven mowing technology with a high-capacity auger conveyor that allows operators to either form a swath directly during mowing or spread the crop evenly across the full working width. The mower offers a standalone working width of 3.6 meters and can achieve up to 6.5 meters when paired with a front-mounted mower, making it suitable for forage farms and professional harvesting contractors.

Based on the EasyCut R 360 platform, the Collect model incorporates a 450 mm diameter auger conveyor positioned beneath a hydraulically adjustable hood. Controlled directly from the tractor cab, the system enables operators to switch easily between wide spreading and swath formation, helping prepare crops efficiently for subsequent harvesting operations.

The mower also supports precise crop placement and field management. Through the 12-to-6 harvesting concept, operators can mow at 12-meter widths and later consolidate the crop into 6-meter swaths using a double-rotor center-delivery rake, improving harvesting efficiency even under lower crop volume conditions.

The EasyCut R 360 Collect features six cutting discs and two mower drums, delivering a precise cutting profile and smooth crop flow. The mower benefits from a 250-hour lubrication interval and Krone’s FullCover cutterbar design, which enhances durability and wear protection.

For improved ground adaptation, the machine is equipped with Krone’s DuoGrip center-of-gravity suspension system, ensuring even weight distribution and consistent cutting performance. An integrated collision protection system safeguards the mower against impact damage, while foldable side and front guards simplify maintenance and transport. The mower also includes a standard counterweight support and offers a transport height of less than four meters with a 124-degree folding angle.

Additional optional features include high-cut skids for cutting heights above 90 mm in rocky or dry conditions, a hydraulically adjustable swath cloth for uniform windrow formation, and hydraulic cutterbar relief that can be adjusted from the tractor cab. Krone also offers SmartConnect telemetry technology, enabling automatic recording of machine location, activity and operating data through a solar-powered module.
