Spelle, Germany – Krone Group., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, has introduced the Swativo T 1040 Pro, its first pickup rake, designed for gentle handling of leafy forage crops such as lucerne and clover.

The machine features Krone’s OptiSwath concept, combining the EasyFlow pickup, FlexFlow feed rotor and adjustable conveyor belt to ensure consistent crop flow, uniform swaths and reduced leaf loss. Operators can adjust pickup pressure and crop flow settings from the cab to suit field conditions.

The Swativo T 1040 Pro offers multiple swathing options, including center, side, single and twin swaths, and is operated through an ISOBUS control system. Additional features include automatic belt stop, optional Section Control, hydraulic folding for transport and a steered axle for improved maneuverability.

Krone says the new pickup rake is designed to improve forage quality while delivering efficient, high-capacity harvesting performance.
