Pune- KTM, a premium motorcycle brand, has launched the all-new KTM RC 160, expanding its race-bred RC portfolio and making track-focused performance more accessible to a wider audience.

Designed for young and aspiring riders, the RC 160 carries forward KTM’s aggressive RC styling, next-gen design language, and race-ready dynamics. With sharp handling, improved aerodynamics, and performance-tuned components, it aims to deliver KTM’s “Race DNA” in a more approachable package positioning the RC 160 as a gateway into the brand’s RC racing universe.

Mr. Manik Nangia, President, Probiking, Bajaj Auto Ltd, said the RC 160 brings KTM’s track-bred character to a wider set of riders. He added that the motorcycle is built to offer the thrill of factory racing with speed, control, and confidence, making it a strong entry point for young enthusiasts stepping into KTM’s performance world.

On the hardware front, the KTM RC 160 features a trellis frame with a full-faired sport design, 37 mm inverted front forks, and a monoshock rear suspension. It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres (110/70-17 front and 140/60 R17 rear) and is equipped with large disc brakes—320 mm at the front and 230 mm at the rear—supported by dual-channel ABS. Other highlights include a 13.75-litre metal fuel tank, all-LED lighting, a sporty split handlebar setup, and an LCD instrument cluster.

In terms of technology, the RC 160 comes with dual-channel ABS featuring Supermoto Mode, an assist and slipper clutch, and a CAN-enabled electronic system. It also offers electronic fuel injection, and navigation support is available on the TA variant, along with a complete all-LED lighting system.

Powering the RC 160 is a 164.2 cc, liquid-cooled SOHC engine that produces 19 PS at 9,500 rpm and 15.5 Nm at 7,500 rpm. KTM claims a high-revving character with a 10,200 rpm redline, paired with a 6-speed gearbox and assist/slipper clutch, while the top speed is rated at 118 km/h.
